Riding School Inspections

Riding School Inspections

It is a legal requirement that all riding establishments offering tuition, trekking, orienteering and hunter hire are inspected on a yearly basis in addition to being registered with their local authority (council) and must have the relevant insurance.
The horses and the premises are inspected to assess the operation of the riding establishment as a whole – to ensure that the horses are fit to be used for the job entailed and that they are kept to a reasonable standard. The inspections also include tack check, that fire regulations are complied with and that a safe environment is maintained for horses, ponies, staff, riders and members of the public at all times.

Dr. Cornelia Chrobok is an RCVS approved Inspector of Riding Establishments.
